CHANGE OF USE OF LAND FOR THE STATIONING OF STATIC AND TOURING CARAVANS
Following objections from the local highway authority, East Sussex County Council, Apex Strategies were appointed to undertake a manual radar speed survey in order to establish the visibility requirements from the proposed site access. A Technical Note was prepared including the findings of the site visit and drawings of the site access for submission to the highway authority.
Further to the input provided by Apex Strategies, the highway authority withdrew their objection to the proposals.
FIRE SAFETY PROJECTS
UPWARD EXTENSION TO EXISTING RESIDENTIAL BLOCK
Apex Strategies were appointed to prepare a Planning Fire Safety Strategy in relation to proposals in the London Borough of Hounslow for the erection of a two storey upward extension to the existing four storey block of flats to accommodate six one bedroom and one two bedroom flats.
The report was deemed to satisfy the requirements of London Plan Policy D12(a) and the application was granted approval.

WATER NEUTRALITY PROJECTS
ERECTION OF RESIDENTIAL ANNEXE
Apex Strategies were appointed to prepare a Water Neutrality Statement to support an application in Horsham District Council for the demolition of an existing ancillary building and the erection of a residential annexe.
The report evidenced that through the retro-fitting of existing water appliances in the principal dwelling and the installation of a suitable rainwater harvesting system, the proposals could achieve water neutrality.
The application was subsequently approved by the local planning authority.
